Scientists hunt for Alzheimer's early warning signs in blood and brain
NCT ID NCT07353502
Summary
This study aims to understand how early brain cell connections break down in Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will compare 20 people with Alzheimer's to 20 healthy volunteers, measuring specific substances in their blood and spinal fluid. The goal is to find biological markers that could lead to earlier diagnosis in the future, not to test a new treatment.
