New drug combo aims to slow Alzheimer's in its tracks

NCT ID NCT06602258

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a new investigational drug called E2814 to an existing Alzheimer's medication (lecanemab) is safe and can better slow the disease. It will involve about 105 people with early-stage Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will measure changes in a specific brain protein (tau) over 6 months to see if the combination treatment is effective.
