Alzheimer's caregiver relief? study tests Easier-to-Use pill
NCT ID NCT07417670
Summary
This study aimed to see if caregivers of people with moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease were more satisfied with a new, quick-dissolving form of the drug memantine compared to the standard tablet. Over 100 patients were involved, and their primary caregivers answered a questionnaire about their experience after two months of treatment. The main goal was to measure caregiver satisfaction and document any side effects, not to test if the drug worked better.
