Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of two medications called KarXT and KarX-EC can safely reduce agitation in people with Alzheimer's disease. The trial will involve 352 adults with Alzheimer's who experience significant agitation, comparing the active treatment to a placebo over 14 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in agitation levels and monitor for side effects to determine if this treatment could help improve quality of life.
