Summary
This early-stage study tested an experimental drug called NMRA-323511 to see if it is safe and can help reduce agitation in people with Alzheimer's disease. The trial involved 96 participants, including healthy elderly adults and people with Alzheimer's who experience agitation. Researchers measured safety and whether the drug reduced the frequency of agitated behaviors over an 8-week period.
