New pill aims to calm agitation in Alzheimer's patients

Summary

This study is testing whether a new oral medication called BMS-986368 can safely reduce agitation in people with Alzheimer's disease. About 120 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo to compare the effects. The main goal is to see if the drug lowers the frequency of agitated behaviors like aggression, restlessness, and verbal outbursts.
