First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested two materials—sticky bone and Bio-Oss collagen—to preserve the jawbone after tooth removal. Forty-two adults who needed a tooth pulled received either natural healing, Bio-Oss collagen, or sticky bone placed in the socket. The goal was to see which method best maintained bone width and height for future dental implants.
