Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called ALTO-207 in 178 adults whose depression has not improved with at least 2 to 5 previous treatments. Participants continue their current antidepressants and receive either ALTO-207 or a placebo. The main goal is to see if ALTO-207 reduces depression symptoms more than placebo over the study period.
