First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study follows 30 elite female cyclists before, during, and after an altitude training camp to see how altitude affects their sleep and menstrual cycles. Participants will track their sleep with diaries, wrist monitors, and a sleep test, and provide saliva, urine, and blood samples to measure hormone levels. The goal is to understand why altitude training works differently for different athletes.
