Summary
This trial tests whether alternating between regular and simulated higher-altitude training improves physical performance and physiological adaptations more than training at a fixed altitude alone. Sixteen elite race walkers from Yunnan Province will be randomly assigned to one of the two training strategies. Researchers will measure changes in body composition, lung function, heart structure, aerobic capacity, and muscle strength before and after the training period.
