First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at whether replacing standard physical education classes with alternative sports like korfball, flag football, kin-ball, and ultimate frisbee can improve motor skills, fitness, and enjoyment in 210 healthy primary school students. Over 8 weeks, researchers will compare the alternative sports program to usual PE classes. The goal is to see if these fun, less traditional activities help children get stronger, faster, and more active.
