Summary
This study tests a robot named Alter-Ego that helps doctors and nurses care for people with ALS. The robot can do tasks like assist with remote check-ups, deliver items, and remind patients about activities. About 40 patients and their healthcare team will try the robot in a hospital and a home-like setting to see if it is safe and easy to use.
