First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called ALTB-268 in 50 adults with moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis that did not improve with biologic therapies. The goal is to see if the drug can reduce disease activity, measured by a standard score. Participants receive the drug openly (everyone knows they are getting it) and are followed for at least 12 weeks, with a long-term extension option.
