New inhaled treatment could slow ALS progression
NCT ID NCT07142291
Summary
This study is testing whether an inhaled medication called PHENOGENE-1A (cromolyn) can help slow the progression of ALS when added to standard treatment. Researchers will enroll 105 adults with mild to moderate ALS to receive either the study drug or a placebo for 24 weeks. The main goals are to see if the treatment improves physical function and breathing ability, and to monitor safety.
