Personalized stem cell shot tested to fight ALS

NCT ID NCT06910384

Summary

This study tested whether a treatment made from a patient's own bone marrow stem cells (called STR04) could help control Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). The goal was to see if four intravenous doses could slow the decline in muscle function and breathing. The trial was terminated early and only enrolled one participant.
