First human test of Lab-Grown motor neurons for ALS patients

Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether motor neuron cells grown from stem cells are safe for people with ALS. Researchers will give these lab-grown cells to 12 ALS patients and monitor them closely for side effects. The main goal is to see if this experimental treatment is well-tolerated before testing whether it might help slow disease progression.
