New ALS drug trial aims for safety first

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new drug called LY4256984 in 32 people with sporadic ALS. The drug is given as an injection into the spine to see if it is safe and what side effects it may cause. Researchers will also measure how much drug gets into the blood and how the body processes it. This study does not test if the drug works, only if it is safe enough to study further.
