Scientists search for clues in ALS Patients' blood and spinal fluid

NCT ID NCT07260981

Summary

This study aimed to better understand Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) by measuring specific proteins in the blood and spinal fluid of patients. Researchers compared samples from 60 people with early-stage ALS to samples from healthy individuals. The goal was to find biological clues that could help identify patient subgroups, track disease progression, and guide future treatment development.
