Doctors test radioactive seeds to fight returning lung cancer
NCT ID NCT05632913
Summary
This study is testing whether tiny radioactive seeds can be safely placed directly into recurrent lung tumors to control cancer growth. Researchers will insert these seeds into tumors of 10 patients with lung cancer that has returned after previous treatment. The main goals are to see if the seed placement procedure works well and to monitor patients for side effects over three months.
