First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study compares aloe vera gel dressings to traditional paraffin-based dressings for pain at the skin graft donor site. About 72 adults aged 18-60 will receive one of the two dressings after surgery. Pain is measured on day 7 using a standard scale, and extra pain medication use is tracked. The goal is to see if aloe vera offers better pain control.
