First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a clot-busting drug (tenecteplase) directly into the brain artery after mechanical clot removal can improve recovery in people with severe stroke. About 132 adults aged 18-85 with large artery blockages will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the drug helps more patients achieve near-normal function at 90 days without causing dangerous bleeding.
