Summary
This study looked at how allulose, a low-calorie sweetener, affects how the body burns calories, uses energy, and controls blood sugar and appetite. Eleven healthy adults of normal weight took part. Researchers measured their energy use and appetite after consuming allulose to see if it could help with weight management.
