NCT ID NCT06512259
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at how safe and effective a human tissue graft called AlloMend® is for women having breast reconstruction after mastectomy. Researchers will review medical records of 200 patients who received the graft and follow them for up to 6 months after surgery. The goal is to see how well the graft works and how it affects quality of life.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
AlloMend® Acellular Dermal Matrix (a human tissue graft used to support breast reconstruction)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that AlloMend® is a safe and effective option for supporting breast reconstruction after mastectomy, potentially improving outcomes for patients.
What could go wrong
This is a small, retrospective study (200 people) that looks back at past data, not a controlled trial. Results may not apply to everyone, and long-term safety beyond 6 months is not assessed.
