NCT ID NCT07562009
First seen May 15, 2026 ยท Last updated May 15, 2026
Summary
This study follows 130 premature babies to see if those who had necrotizing enterocolitis (a severe gut infection) are more likely to develop allergies by age 1-2. Researchers will compare allergy skin test results between babies who had NEC and those who did not. The goal is to understand if early gut problems affect long-term allergy risk.
