First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This phase 3 trial tests whether a new drug called DW1807 works better than another drug (DW1807-R2) for people with year-round allergic rhinitis who also have asthma. About 274 adults will take one of the two drugs daily for 4 weeks. The main goal is to see if DW1807 improves nasal symptoms like stuffiness and sneezing more than the comparator.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
DW1807 (experimental drug) and DW1807-R2 (active comparator drug)
What this could lead to
If DW1807 works better, it could offer a new treatment option for people with both year-round allergies and asthma, easing nasal symptoms.
What could go wrong
This is a short 4-week study with 274 participants, so results may not apply long-term or to everyone. The drug may not prove superior to the comparator.
