First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at how a hormone called aldosterone changes in people with primary hyperparathyroidism before and after parathyroid surgery. Researchers will measure aldosterone levels in 400 adults at 3, 6, and 12 months after surgery. They also track blood pressure and medication use to see if surgery helps control hypertension.
