First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether a supplement called Alcovit (made from a natural mineral, zeolite clinoptilolite) can lower blood alcohol levels and ease hangover symptoms in healthy adults aged 18 to 70 who drink occasionally or moderately. Participants will drink a set amount of alcohol, take Alcovit or a placebo either before or after drinking, and have their blood alcohol measured over an hour. The goal is to see if Alcovit safely speeds up alcohol breakdown.
