Summary

This study is testing whether a special type of psychotherapy can help people with alcohol use disorder drink less and feel better. The therapy focuses on how people see themselves and their memories related to drinking. Researchers will compare 60 participants, with half receiving the new therapy sessions and half receiving standard care, to see if the therapy helps reduce alcohol use and cravings over six months.
