Summary
This study tested a technique called Episodic Future Thinking (EFT), where people imagine positive future events in detail, to see if it helps those with alcohol use disorder drink less. 154 adults who wanted to cut down on drinking participated. The approach aims to reduce impulsive choices and alcohol consumption by strengthening the brain's ability to think ahead.
