Summary
This study looks at whether offering alcohol use disorder treatment in Black churches helps more people start and stay in treatment compared to traditional specialty clinics. About 137 Black adults with alcohol problems will be randomly assigned to either a church-based program or a clinic. The goal is to see which setting leads to better drinking outcomes over 9 months.
