First seen Jun 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether starting alcohol treatment soon after a liver transplant helps people with severe alcoholic hepatitis stay sober and live longer. About 200 participants will receive either standard care or a combined person- and computer-delivered alcohol program. The goal is to reduce relapse, improve mood and quality of life, and find better ways to support long-term recovery.
