Summary

This study looks at whether sharing results from a blood test that measures recent alcohol use (called PEth) during counseling helps people with HIV who drink too much cut back. About 80 adults in Uganda will take part. Half will get standard counseling plus their PEth results, and half will get counseling alone. After 3 months, researchers will check if the approach is acceptable and if it leads to less drinking.
