Summary
This study aims to understand how alcohol consumption causes muscle breakdown in people with alcoholic liver disease. Researchers will compare 30 patients with different stages of liver disease to 10 healthy people. The main method involves taking a small sample of muscle tissue to look for specific chemical changes linked to muscle loss.
