Summary
This study tests whether offering specialized alcohol treatment to people newly diagnosed with alcohol-related liver disease helps them stop drinking. About 221 adults with early liver damage from heavy drinking will be randomly assigned to either get this treatment or standard care. The main goal is to see if more people are alcohol-free after 6 months.
