Can simple counseling help people stick with HIV prevention pills?
NCT ID NCT06094634
Summary
This study is testing whether a brief counseling program can help people who are starting or restarting HIV prevention medication (PrEP) to continue taking it properly while also reducing heavy drinking. Researchers will compare the counseling program to standard care in 562 participants in Vietnam over 12 months. The goal is to see if this combined support leads to better health outcomes.
