Phone app aims to help liver patients quit alcohol

Summary
This study is testing whether a smartphone app called Connections can help people with alcohol-related liver disease stop drinking. 298 participants at two medical centers will either use the app along with their usual care or receive only usual care for 6 months. Researchers want to see if the app helps people stay alcohol-free longer and improves their liver health and quality of life.
