New program aims to break the cycle of violence and substance use
NCT ID NCT07070414
Summary
This study aims to improve a brief motivational conversation to help young adults (ages 18-25) who were injured in an assault and also use alcohol or cannabis. Researchers will test if this adapted conversation, delivered in the emergency room, is practical and acceptable to participants. The goal is to help these young people feel more confident about changing their substance use and connect them with helpful resources.
