Summary

This study aims to understand how men and women respond differently when they take a break from drinking alcohol. Researchers will observe 160 moderate social drinkers to see how their drinking patterns, brain responses, and feelings about alcohol change after two weeks of abstinence. The goal is to use this information to develop better prevention and treatment approaches for alcohol problems that work differently for men and women.
