First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study is checking if the time it takes for a protein called albumin to return to normal after major liver or pancreas surgery can predict how well a patient recovers. Researchers will follow 1,000 patients and track their albumin levels, complications, and hospital stay. The goal is to find a simple way to identify patients who may need extra care after surgery.
