This study tests whether adding a specific gut bacteria, Akkermansia muciniphila, to the standard Crohn's disease drug infliximab can help heal the intestinal lining better than infliximab alone. The trial will involve 400 adults with active Crohn's disease. The main goal is to see if the combination leads to complete healing of ulcers in the gut.
