First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at how acute kidney injury (AKI) impacts the success and safety of removing breathing tubes in critically ill adults in the ICU. Researchers will track 85 patients to see if AKI makes it harder to wean off mechanical ventilation. The goal is to understand if kidney problems are a key factor in weaning difficulties.
