New hope for hard-to-treat colon cancer: drug combo shows promise in early trial

Summary
This study tests whether adding the experimental drug AK104 to standard chemotherapy and either cetuximab or bevacizumab can shrink tumors in people with a specific type of advanced colorectal cancer (MSS type) that has spread. About 40 adults aged 18 to 75 whose cancer got worse after first treatment will receive the combination. The main goal is to see how many patients have a significant tumor reduction lasting at least 4 weeks.
