First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests a new, faster type of brain stimulation called accelerated intermittent theta burst stimulation (AiTBS) to see if it relieves nerve pain better than standard treatment. About 120 adults with moderate to severe nerve pain will receive either AiTBS or standard 10-Hz rTMS over 10 days. Researchers will measure pain levels and brain activity changes to compare the two approaches.
