Summary
This pilot study tested a program called AIRWISE in 20 adults aged 55 and older with heart disease. The program provided air cleaners, air quality monitors, and education to improve indoor air. The goal was to see if people would use these tools and if they helped heart health. This study did not test a cure or treatment, but gathered information to plan a larger future trial.
