Can a simple breathing measurement predict survival after cardiac arrest?

NCT ID NCT07438938

Summary

This study looks at breathing data collected from about 150 people who suffered cardiac arrest outside the hospital. Researchers want to understand if a measurement called the Airway Opening Index (AOI), taken from a breathing monitor, is common during CPR and if it can help predict whether a patient's heart will restart. They will also check if a specific breathing support technique improves this measurement and outcomes.
