Can a simple breathing measurement predict survival in cardiac arrest?

NCT ID NCT07438938

Summary

This study looks at breathing data from 150 people who had a cardiac arrest outside the hospital. Researchers want to see if a measurement called the Airway Opening Index, taken from breathing monitors during CPR, can help predict whether a patient's heart will restart. They also want to know if adjusting air pressure during breathing assistance improves this measurement and the chance of survival.
