New breathing tube aims to prevent oxygen drops in sedated patients

NCT ID NCT05974488

Summary

This study is testing whether a special flexible tube placed in the throat can help keep oxygen levels stable during a heart ultrasound procedure. Researchers will compare it to standard oxygen delivery through the nose in 50 adults who are sedated for the test. The goal is to see if the new device reduces the risk of low oxygen levels during the procedure.
