Ultrasound and AI join forces to make breathing tube placement safer

This study looks at whether ultrasound measurements of the neck, combined with patient details, can help doctors predict when placing a breathing tube might be tricky. About 210 adults having planned surgery will have their neck scanned and data collected. The goal is to use artificial intelligence to find patterns that could guide safer intubation in the future.
