Scientists test home air to see if it reveals family sickness
NCT ID NCT07298967
Summary
This study aims to understand if viruses detected in the air inside homes match when family members get sick. Researchers will enroll families with a sick child and place an air sampler in their home while also collecting nasal swabs. The goal is to see if measuring viruses in the air can help track how respiratory illnesses spread within households.
