Cleaner air at home: a new hope for rare lung diseases?
NCT ID NCT07417267
Summary
This study is testing whether using HEPA air purifiers at home can help people with cystic fibrosis (CF) or primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) breathe easier. Researchers will give 62 participants in Cyprus two air purifiers for their homes and track their lung function, symptoms, and overall health over six months. The goal is to see if cleaner indoor air can help control these chronic lung conditions and improve quality of life.
